Best from Japan – for the best region of Russia!

The delegation of Krasnodar Krai visited one of the most exotic and mysterious countries in the world – Japan from 21 to 27 November 2010.

OJSC “Krasnodar Krai Economic Development Agency” together with the ANO “Japan Center “Kaizen” organized this business visit in accordance with the initiative of the Department of Agriculture and Processing Industry of Krasnodar Krai. This trip was long-expected for all the delegates and ,fortunately, met expectations. The business programme included a visit to 3 agricultural exhibitions, cooperatives, large agricultural manufacturer KUBOTA Corporation and a plant for the production of tractors and diesel.

In the first days Russian guests visited cooperative WAGOUEN, that produces organic food. All the delegates were impressed with the project on utilization of agricultural waste products. The project is pilot, scientists from Tokyo University take part in this project.

A visit to KUBOTA Corporation, which is one of the largest agricultural company – producer of equipment and machines in Japan, appeared to be very effective. The company celebrated its 120 year anniversary in 2010. It is to be noted that in Japan the main indicator of a company reliability is its age. More than 10 000 Japanese companies are more than 100 year old.

Our delegation was accepted by the directory of Tsukuba Plant, that produces tractors for different purposes and diesels. The production of the plant is exported to 70 countries of the world. This plant is one of the biggest in the world. The participants of our delegation could assure themselves of the efficiency of KAIZEN technologies: cleanness and order at work places, a supply of details and adjustment of tractors are ”Just in time”. The production of the company is not only reliability and Japanese quality, but also careful influence on the environment.

A visit to the exhibition Agro-Innovation Japan 2010 was not less impressive than the other visits. There were presented modern agricultural and garden machines and equipment, technologies for cutting and package of fruit and vegetables, equipment for drying, cultivators, seeds, fertilizers and , of course, agricultural production.

Numerous interesting excursions to the most famous sights of Tokyo gave our participants an opportunity to get close to Japanese culture.

We believe that each participant of the delegation has his own unforgettable impressions from this tour, that he will keep in his memory for a long time.

We are grateful to our Japanese partners for the help in organization of this trip and hope, that step by step, we will allow our citizen to discover Japan in the future!
