Krasnodar Krai Economic Development Agency was founded in February 2002 by the initiative of the Ministry for Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation in compliance with the Decision of the Governor of Krasnodar Region. The Agency is directly subordinate to the Department of Investments and Project Support of the Krasnodar Region Administration. In September, 2008 it was renamed into Open Society "Krasnodar Krai Economic Development Agency".

- Attraction of investments to Krasnodar Region and integrated investor support at the preliminary stages of project development;
