Why a city or region needs branding?

To draw investors attentions
To draw the Federal authorities attentions to the projects realized in the city or region
It is a good PR for the mayor or governor
To help local manufacturers to promoter their goods and services
To attract personnel to the region
For to be pround of their small native land
To attract tourist
Branding is a tribute to fashion, prestige
Brending is a nonsense
